THE LAND OF BEGINNING AGAIN
I wish that there were some wonderful place
Called the Land of Beginning again,
Where all our mistakes and all our heartaches,
And all of our poor selfish greed,
Could be dropped like a shabby old coat at the door,
And never be put on again.
I made a mess of the first twenty-five years of my life! Then in October of 1958, in our home in Downey, California, Jesus found me! What a life-changing experience! I gave my life to God, through Jesus Christ, and found the “Land of beginning again.”
I have found a place,
A wonderful place called the Land of Beginning again,
Where all my mistakes and all my heartaches,
And all of my poor selfish greed
Has been laid like a shabby old coat on my Lord,
And I need never bear them again.

Let’s dedicate 2019 to beginning again! If you have not accepted Christ, may this be the year that you get on the road to heaven. If you are just going through the motions of being a committed Christian, may this be the time that you recommit yourself with all your heart. Happy New Year 2019!
