I WILL GLORY IN THE CROSS!

I WILL GLORY IN THE CROSS!

“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our LORD Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world” (Galatians 6:14 KJV).

The world says, “it’s not rational to believe that a virgin could give birth to child.” “It’s not rational to believe that an all-powerful God would leave His home in heaven to become a human.” “It’s not rational to believe God would allow His only Son to be executed at the hands of His creation.” “It’s not rational to believe that there’s a hell where everyone who does not kneel at the cross will go for eternity.” “It’s not rational to believe that a man who was dead and buried for three days would come back to life.”

The world outside of Christ can never understand the enlightenment of the Word of God, the awesomeness of answered prayer, the excitement of a testimony, the thrill of a gospel song, the feeling of God’s love and acceptance, or the security of knowing we’re going to heaven. All of that comes in the cross of Christ! Without the cross, the Bible is just another book, and Christianity is nothing more than a self-help seminar.

When you consider all of the issues of true Christianity, and go straight to the core of what it means to be a Christian, you will find yourself at the cross of Jesus Christ.

The cross upon which Jesus died,

Is a shelter in which we can hide;

And its grace so free is sufficient for me,

And deep is its fountain as wide as the sea

There's room at the cross for you,

There's room at the cross for you,

Tho millions have come, There's still room for one.

Yes, there's room at the cross for you.
