Moral Relativism is a philosophy that asserts there is no absolute moral law that applies to all people, in all time, and in all places. That means what is right for one group is not necessarily right or true for everyone. The most obvious example is sexual morality. It teaches that there are no objective moral values which help us to determine what is right or wrong. They claim “everything is relative.”
You can be prosecuted, probably serve jail time if you abuse or kill an animal (a woman was sentenced to a prison term for killing her boyfriend’s pet pig), yet babies are being murdered by the millions through abortion, their body parts being harvested and sold, with no fear of punishment.
Our federal government takes our hard-earned tax money and rewards those who are too lazy to work, and it is legal!
Manger scenes, and “Merry Christmas” are illegal in many places because they honor our Lord Jesus Christ, but Satan is honored with witches, ghosts and goblins at Halloween, with very little opposition.
Marriage has been replaced with living together. Television and movies have pushed this concept until most young people see it as the norm.
Divorce, even among Christians is so common as to be acceptable. Millions of children in America are being raised in divided homes. The mantra of the day is “If it doesn’t work out, that’s okay, we will find another husband/wife.”
Premarital sex is as common today as a kiss when I was young. Movies and television present it as normal and acceptable.
Rape is rampant. Then the woman is attacked by defense attorneys, making you wonder who the offender really is. (I personally think that rapists and pedophiles should be executed, along with murderers). Our prisons are overcrowded because we are not executing murderers, in fact many are paroled and commit more crimes.
Schools have banned prayer, but provide condoms for their students. Christian tee shirts are banned but satanic symbols are permitted.
The Ten Commandments have been banned, but internet porn, and filthy sex material is easily available.

“Addictions and character flaws are now called “diseases” so everyone is a victim and no one is accountable for their own choices and actions anymore. When leaders and high profile celebrities get caught doing something immoral or illegal they just enter a rehab program and then they are allowed to remain role models and idols for others to follow. Any moral failings will be blamed on the “disease” they have. When they get caught doing similar behaviors time and time again it is because the “disease” flared up and rehab is again the solution.
The world is told to be more tolerant of other's beliefs but those that teach the absolute truth that Jesus is the only way to God will not be tolerated by the world.
The Bible is absolute Truth! And well-meaning people still turn to worldly counselors, horoscopes, palm-readers and mystics for help. Listen to God: “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night” (Psalm 1:1,2).
Psalm 138:2, “For You have magnified Your Word above all Your name.” Proverbs 30:5: “Every Word of God is pure; He is a Shield to those who put their trust in Him.” Isaiah 40:8: “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.”
“Alone in his small plane, the pilot looked uneasily at the heavy, black clouds that were rapidly approaching. His fuel was getting low. Should he turn back? The airfield behind him was further than the one ahead. He decided to continue in spite of the dark clouds ahead. Within minutes he was engulfed in an unbroken grayness that seemed to have no dimensions—no up, no down, no right, no left—only unchanging opaqueness. After a time he began to feel that his plane was climbing. Yet, a glance at his instruments assured him he was flying straight and level. Still, the impression that he was climbing persisted and grew stronger. Had his instruments gone awry? Could he trust them? Suppose they were faulty?
Finally, his impressions won. He decided something must have gone wrong with his instruments and that he had better not rely on them. So, he began to “fly by the seat of his pants,” as the saying among pilots goes.
Thus, it was that a farmer making his way under sullen overcast skies to his barn heard a plane flying dangerously low and, in a few moments, heard the dull explosion that told him it had crashed. What had caused the tragedy? The pilot had an “absolute standard” by which to determine his position— his instruments. However, he decided to trust his impressions and feelings, rather than the instruments” (Bibleinfo.com).
When all else fails, read the instructions! Our instruction manual is the Bible. Trust God’s Word, not your impressions! Jeremiah 17:5-7 NLT, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.”
